Celebrating with a large-scale party IVANKA opened its first flagship store on the 5th May in Tel-Aviv, Israel. At the opening event we were proud to host „The most promising architect, interior designer and product designer award“ ceremony of the most prestigious Israeli medium, BVD Magazine.


On the 5th May IVANKA, the leading Hungarian design company represented in more than 40 countries worldwide, in collaboration with their local partner opened its first own flagship store in Tel-Aviv. The new branch named IVANKA Israel is a showroom for IVANKA’s products and conceptual items, and besides this an architectual, commercial and networking space as well.

The grand opening celebration, which included reception, cocktail party, partner meeting had an architectural and design highlight. After the opening speech of Kfir Maimon, official representative of the showroom, the winners of „The most promising architect, interior designer and product designer award“ of BVD Magazine were announced from 55 nominated architects and designers. They received their awards from Katalin Ivanka, co-founder and co-owner of IVANKA, Galit Gaon, chief curator of Design Museum Holon and Shimon Peres, former Israeli prime minister - who sent his greetings via video message.
The opening ceremony was visited by more than 700 business partners, architects, designers and professionals.

The opening of the flagship store is not only a milestone for IVANKA‘s worldwide expansion but also for the Israeli-Hungarian economic relations. During the past 5 years‘ export activity to Israel, the country became one of IVANKA‘s key market of their international presence. The showroom opening is a great step forward to the company’s aim to build up new businesses and to be the leading concrete designer brand there. The store features products of 5 different brands, but mainly IVANKA’s highly-customized concrete solutions for wall coverings, basins and well-known IVANKA products like Flaster tiles, Panels and Orto covering. The showroom’s interior design is the result of the conceptual thinking of the internationally renowned Israeli design studio, Paritzki & Liani Architects and IVANKA’s concrete evolutional technology.
